Software Engineer II (IN) Senior

Overview

Software Engineer II focused on leading end-to-end QA for Zebra’s monthly LifeGuard (LG) releases for Android-based hardware and mobile systems.

What you'll do

• Own the end-to-end quality assurance strategy across hardware and mobile platforms.
• Lead the QA lifecycle for monthly LG releases for Android devices.
• Drive adoption of AI testing tools to accelerate test strategy and test case generation.
• Develop and maintain testing strategies covering functional, performance, interoperability, and benchmarking.
• Lead and mentor a team of test engineers with technical guidance.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and program managers to integrate testing in the SDLC.
• Explore and integrate generative AI tools to enhance test case generation and strategy.

What you'll need

• 10+ years experience in Android OS testing.
• Exposure to Robot Framework and Appium.
• Experience writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Experience with end-to-end solution testing, interoperability testing, benchmarking, and performance-related testing.
• Knowledge of SDLC, Agile, and DevOps methodologies.
• Experience with generative AI tools for test development.
• BE/B.Tech in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Location: India Offsite.
