Overview
Develop and maintain .NET system software, including new features and components, while working with a team of engineers to design robust solutions that meet defined system requirements.
What you'll do
- Develop software according to functional and technical design specifications.
- Participate in design and code reviews/inspections.
- Provide input to technical discussions and propose solutions and alternatives.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and provide code fixes for reported problems and change requests.
- Write and execute unit tests.
- Develop proof-of-concept prototypes.
- Provide work estimates.
- Aid testers and support personnel as needed to determine system problems.
- Adhere to JCI policies, guidelines and procedures pertaining to the protection of information assets.
- Adhere to JCI product security standards and guidelines for secured software product development.
- Deploy and use software and licenses only in accordance with JCI licensing agreements.
- Implement appropriate physical and technical safeguards to protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information assets.
- Report information security incidents, alerts, warnings and suspected vulnerabilities in a timely manner and share such information only with authorized personnel.
What you'll need
- B.Tech. or MCA.
- 3-5 years of experience in software product development.
- Expertise in creating .NET-based REST APIs using .NET Framework/Core.
- Expertise in ReactJS, HTML5, CSS3, design patterns, data structure and OOPS.
- Experience in Angular/Angular JS, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap and responsive UI.
- Experience in writing unit tests.
- Experience with CI/CD like Jenkins, Linux and Docker-based deployment.
- Knowledge of the software development life cycle.
- Use of UML and sequence diagrams.
- Usage experience with a code repository like GITHUB.
- Understanding of Agile (Scrum) methodology.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and conceptual skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Experience working with globally distributed teams.
- Good verbal and written communication in English, with an ability to express and understand complex technical concepts.
- A can-do attitude and initiative to start and complete assigned activities.
