Software Engineer III (C++ Development)

Overview

Software Engineer III responsible for designing, developing, troubleshooting, and debugging software enhancements and new products, with a focus on C++ and related full-stack technologies.

What you'll do

• Develop modular, maintainable, tested, and documented software.
• Translate requirements into code and make component changes.
• Apply data structures and algorithms to solve technical problems.
• Assess software compatibility with hardware and make design decisions.
• Estimate work and complete assignments within agreed timelines.
• Participate in meetings and agile ceremonies.
• Build subject matter expertise in the product domain.

What you'll need

• Minimum 7 years of software engineering experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Mastery of one or more programming languages.
• Expertise in C++.
• Knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
• Excellent code design and software development skills.
• Experience with Java or willingness to work with Java, React, REST web services, Maven, and CI technologies.

Nice to have

• Ability to write code faster than the average developer.
• Strong record of producing high-quality code with few bugs.
