Software Engineer Apps, Lead

Overview

Lead Software Application Engineer role focused on designing, developing, testing, and maintaining enterprise-grade software applications. You drive adoption of internal software products and collaborate cross-functionally to translate requirements into capabilities.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and maintain software application(s) or focus area.
• Drive adoption of internal software products across Lam.
• Collaborate on planning, data collection, modeling, data analysis, and report results to stakeholders.
• Partner to understand product roadmaps, process flow, software requirements, and business use cases.
• Provide requirements and user stories to product managers and developers.
• Act as a single point of contact accountable for applications and key projects.
• Develop scalable application code and implement unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience, or Master’s with 3+ years.
• Experience in specified areas (front-end, back-end, data analysis) as applicable.
• Preferred proficiency in Python and other programming languages.
• Familiarity with software product development methodologies.
• Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for cross-functional coordination and communication.
• Prior semiconductor experience is preferred.
