Software Engineer Intern

Overview

Marvell is seeking an approved 2027 Software Engineer Intern to develop and debug platform software spanning firmware, Linux kernel and ARM64 systems.

What you'll do

• Develop and debug C/C++ software across the platform stack, spanning ATF, U-Boot, Linux kernel, and embedded firmware.
• Develop and debug Linux kernel drivers and platform software for Ethernet, PCIe, I2C, SPI, MMC, USB, and other hardware interfaces.
• Develop and debug platform features including secure boot, Trusted Execution Environment (TEE), hardware security, and system reliability.
• Work with ARM64 architecture features including interrupt controllers, IOMMU, virtualization, and system-level resource management.
• Analyze system-level issues across firmware and kernel; perform root-cause analysis and develop corrective solutions.
• Analyze and optimize kernel and system performance, including driver and subsystem performance.
