Software Engineer Intern (January 12th start, 23 weeks)

Overview

Software Engineer Intern role focused on designing, developing, deploying, and operating software solutions for real-time, low-latency communications. The internship lasts six months and starts January 12, 2027.

What you'll do

• Ship multiple software projects during the internship.
• Develop features and services for distributed systems and communications applications.
• Improve coding skills, issue tracking, source control, and agile development practices.
• Participate in code reviews, bug tracking, and project management.
• Learn and work with distributed computing, audio processing, virtualization performance, and distributed messaging.

What you'll need

• Currently pursue a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science.
• Demonstrate a strong interest in software development through side projects or open-source involvement.
• Show willingness to learn new technologies and an entrepreneurial, can-do approach.
• Have written code in Python, Java, JavaScript, PHP, C, or C++.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of unit and integration testing methodologies.
• Experience writing, debugging, and deploying testing frameworks.
• Experience in data processing, analytics, business intelligence, or reporting.
• Experience with Hadoop, Spark, Python, or Scala.

• Remote role based in India.
• Applicants must be located in Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Maharashtra, or Delhi during the internship.
