Software Engineer - Java Backend Developer

Experienced Java Backend Lead to lead a backend development team and build high-performance backend systems.

What you'll do

• Lead the backend development team and drive technical decisions
• Design and develop scalable, high-performance backend systems using Java
• Mentor and guide team members to improve skills and delivery
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (frontend, QA, DevOps)
• Ensure best practices, code quality, and technical debt management
• Drive innovation and improvement in backend systems

What you'll need

• 3–6 years of experience in Java backend development
• Strong expertise in Java, Spring, and microservices architecture
• Experience leading teams and driving technical decisions
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Nice to have

• Experience with reactive programming (Reactor, Akka)
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Familiarity with event-driven architecture and messaging systems (Kafka)
