Overview

Software Engineer for Speechify’s Platform team, building and maintaining backend services and APIs that power text-to-speech functionality and related platform capabilities.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and maintain robust public and internal APIs, including a public TTS API.
• Oversee the backend API landscape to enhance and optimize performance and maintainability.
• Collaborate on B2B solutions focused on customization and enterprise integration needs.
• Work with cross-functional teams to align backend architecture with product strategy and user experience.

What you'll need

• Proven experience in backend development with TS/Node (required).
• Direct experience with GCP.
• Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or other cloud providers.
• Ability to ideate and implement efficiently, prioritizing tasks by urgency and impact.
