Software Engineer - Java Full Stack (Java, Angular, AWS)

Overview

Software Engineer focused on delivering high-quality, secure technology solutions by building new software applications or modifying and supporting existing packaged or custom-built applications in an agile environment.

What you'll do

• Analyze, solution, develop, test, debug, document and deploy software according to standards in an agile environment.
• Apply secure software and systems engineering practices throughout the delivery lifecycle to protect data and technology solutions from threats and vulnerabilities.
• Use DevSecOps practices, tooling and techniques.
• Drive continuous improvement and learning through ongoing training, practice and innovation.
• Manage medium to large project priorities, deadlines and deliverables proactively.
• Collaborate across teams and adhere to company standards.

What you'll need

• 7-8 years of hands-on Java Full Stack development experience.
• Java (11/17+) backend development.
• Spring Boot and REST API development.
• Microservices architecture and design patterns.
• JPA/Hibernate.
• Angular (for Full-Stack profiles).
• Oracle Database and SQL, including performance tuning and query optimization.
• AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, BedRock, RDS).
• Kubernetes.
• GitHub Actions (CI/CD).
• Application performance tuning and JVM performance analysis.
• AI prompt engineering, AI agent frameworks, and AI/LLM integration.
• JIRA, Splunk, and New Relic.
• Undergraduate studies in computer science, management information systems, or other related degree; technology experience or non-traditional technology certificates can be substituted.
• Four or more years of analysis and technology experience.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, C++, Python, or JavaScript.
• Strong knowledge of the software development lifecycle.

• Ability to work in agile and global environments.
• Time management and prioritization.
