Overview

Software Engineer, Professional II responsible for analyzing, designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions, including software-to-hardware integration.

What you'll do

• Analyze requirements for moderately complex software design projects.
• Develop and maintain software functionality and associated user documentation.
• Lead system integration between software and hardware to ensure consistent performance.
• Prioritize features so the most impactful are delivered first.
• Lead and participate in code reviews and address issues early.
• Test and validate software functionality and contribute to inspections to meet quality standards.
• Develop and test comprehensive documentation including design specifications and user manuals.
• Provide solutions and recommendations for technical problems across multiple domains.

What you'll need

• 4-6 years of strong development experience in Java or C/C++.
• Experience working with RFID embedded system firmware.
• Strong skills in Android and Linux.
• Strong debugging skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Bachelor’s or Advanced Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• 2 to 5 years of relevant software engineering experience; 3+ years if holding an advanced degree equivalency.
• Proficiency with version control systems (e.g., Git, GitHub) and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
