Software Engineer - Validation

Overview

Validation Engineer role to perform system-level and end-to-end testing of automotive software and connected vehicle features, including test strategy, test automation, HIL/SIL validation, CAN communication testing, OTA and cybersecurity validation, and defect analysis to ensure high-quality software releases.

What you'll do

• Author and manage PRD, IRS, SRS, and TRS requirements for product development.
• Decompose and structure requirements, ensuring complete traceability from requirements to testing.
• Maintain requirement baselines, change management, and release mapping using DOORS, Polarion, Jama, or similar tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to review, analyze, and implement requirements.
• Ensure compliance with ASPICE SYS.2, quality standards, and engineering governance processes.

What you'll need

• System-level and E2E validation.
• Test strategy and test case design.
• Automation tools (Selenium, Appium).
• CANoe and automotive tools.
• HIL/SIL experience.
• OTA and cybersecurity validation.
• Defect tracking and root cause analysis.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
