Software Engineering & Development, Associate 2

Overview

Associate 2 role supporting application design, development, testing, deployment, and technology operations. The position involves software development practices, cloud and DevOps concepts, monitoring, databases, and automation.

What you'll do

• Analyze business and technical requirements.
• Contribute to application design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Participate in agile stand-ups and retrospectives.
• Prepare technical documentation for the SDLC process.
• Collaborate with internal teams.
• Manage and resolve problems on live production systems.

What you'll need

• Hold a B.Tech, M.Tech, MCA, or related equivalent qualification.
• Understand coding, application design, development, and SDLC methodologies.
• Understand cloud fundamentals including IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, NaaS, AWS, and Azure.
• Know DevOps concepts and tools including CI/CD, Jenkins, Git, GitHub, and Harness.
• Understand databases, middleware, storage, and Windows or Unix environments.
• Demonstrate analytical, communication, critical-thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of GUI development with Java, middleware, and backend databases.
• Knowledge of SQL performance tuning, query plans, tracing, database statistics, and indexing.
• Experience with automation tools or languages including Python, R, Ansible, Blue Prism, or Django.
