Software Engineer (Python & Cloud/Data Platform)

Overview

Software Engineer responsible for developing Python applications and services, processing data, and deploying scalable solutions on Azure. The role covers backend development, cloud operations, and DevOps practices.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable Python applications and services.
• Build data ingestion, transformation, and processing solutions with PySpark.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and Python microservices.
• Manage data pipelines using Apache Airflow, including creating and modifying DAGs.
• Deploy applications on Azure using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for applications and infrastructure.
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues in production environments.

What you'll need

• At least 4 years of professional experience writing and deploying production Python code.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Hands-on experience with PySpark for large-scale data processing.
• Practical experience with Apache Airflow data pipelines.
• Experience working with Databricks.
• Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Azure cloud services and Agile development.

Nice to have

• Good understanding of application deployment through CI/CD.
