Software Engineer II- Middleware

Overview

Software Engineer II responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying, and supporting enterprise integration solutions using APIs, middleware technologies, cloud platforms, and DevOps practices.

What you'll do

• Develop and support APIs, web services, and middleware components.
• Contribute across requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, deployment, and documentation.
• Troubleshoot application and integration issues across production and non-production environments.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD and automation practices.
• Support cloud-native deployment pipelines and containerized applications.
• Monitor application health and assist with incident resolution.
• Collaborate with application, architecture, QA, DevOps, and business teams.

What you'll need

• 3–5 years of experience in software engineering, application development, or integration engineering.
• Knowledge of at least one programming language, such as Python or Node.js.
• Experience developing and consuming REST APIs and web services.
• Understanding of API security, versioning, and lifecycle management.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift, Git, and CI/CD tools.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Experience with Apache Kafka or other messaging technologies.
• Experience with middleware and enterprise integration platforms.
• Understanding of microservices architecture and integration patterns.
• Experience supporting production applications and operational environments.

• Location: Bangalore, Karnataka, India.
• Work timing: UK shift, 2 PM to 11 PM IST.
