Software Engineer I A - GBS IND

Overview

Design, develop, and operate AI agents, data pipelines, and machine learning solutions for enterprise automation and analytics. Deploy AI systems securely and reliably in a regulated environment.

What you'll do

• Code and unit test solutions against acceptance and compliance requirements.
• Design and modify architecture components, interfaces, and solution enablers.
• Mentor software engineers and coach the team on CI/CD practices.
• Refine stories, define requirements, and estimate delivery work.
• Build proofs of concept to mitigate risk or evaluate ideas.
• Automate release activities.
• Develop and maintain integration, regression, and performance test suites.

What you'll need

• 3 to 5 years of experience in Data Engineering, ML Engineering, AI Engineering, or Software Engineering.
• Any graduation or post-graduation qualification.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and Scala, Java, or Go.
• Experience designing AI agents, toolchains, and agent frameworks.
• Experience with LLM integration, function calling, prompt engineering, and agent orchestration.
• Experience deploying ML models and building scalable data pipelines.
• Knowledge of RAG, vector databases, CI/CD, automated testing, Docker, and Kubernetes.

Nice to have

• Understanding of Responsible AI, model fairness, bias detection, and safety filters.
• Experience in financial services, healthcare, or government environments.
• Industry certification in Azure, AWS, or GCP data or AI engineering.
