Overview

Senior Manager for Backend/API engineering, leading development and system integration while implementing AI capabilities.

What you'll do

• Manage developers to build and maintain backend applications using Node.js and TypeScript with reliability and scalability in mind.
• Implement asynchronous programming and decorator-based programming practices.
• Support system integration across cloud and on-prem platforms to enable communication between databases and APIs.
• Handle transaction management, failure handling, validation, and retries to improve robustness.
• Assist in managing cloud-based services, with a preference for AWS experience.

What you'll need

• 13 to 16 years of experience in backend software development.
• Strong expertise in Node.js and TypeScript.
• Experience building RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs.
• Experience with relational databases such as MySQL or Postgres.
• Experience with NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB, MongoDB, or Cassandra.
• Experience with caching using Redis or Memcached.
• Degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Details

• Full-time role working 40 hours per week.
• Primarily based in Hyderabad, India (Innovation Hub), with flexibility to work remotely as required.
