Software Factory Architect (Lead Developer) – Vehicle Motion (VM)

Overview

Hands-on Software Factory Architect to define, build, and deploy a Global Software Factory & Developer Platform for Vehicle Motion (VM) in Coimbatore.

What you'll do

• Define and standardize development environments using Visual Studio Code, GitHub Copilot, and DevContainers.
• Design CI/CT automation using GitHub Actions and self-hosted runners.
• Modernize build systems using Conan, Make, custom build scripts, and the internal Make Tool Chain (MTC).
• Integrate safety-critical testing and simulation frameworks including Cantata, ECU-TEST, and custom frameworks.
• Implement and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code with Python, PowerShell, Bash, Terraform, and Docker.
• Educate and coach the global team on AI coding assistants and modern engineering methodologies.

What you'll need

• 8+ years of hands-on software development and platform engineering experience.
• Strong software architecture foundation.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience in architecture and developing platform/tooling for developer experience.
