Software QA Engineer

Overview

Software QA Engineer to lead quality strategy for cloud-based data-center management capabilities, partnering cross-functionally to improve testability and drive defect resolution.

What you'll do

• Define risk-based test approaches, release criteria, automation priorities, and measurable quality outcomes.
• Partner with developers and product leaders to improve testability and diagnose complex defects.
• Design and evolve Python-based automation frameworks and CI/CD quality gates.
• Develop infrastructure-validation solutions using Git, Selenium WebDriver, and cloud-native tooling.
• Use generative AI and AI-assisted tools for test-case development, automation, log analysis, and defect triage while validating outputs.
• Provide technical leadership across Cisco UCS environments and mentor engineers.

What you'll need

• 10+ years of software quality-assurance or quality-engineering experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a related technical field.
• Demonstrated experience leading quality strategy, test planning, risk assessment, and release validation for SaaS enterprise software, cloud infrastructure, or microservices platforms.
• Advanced proficiency in Python, test-automation architecture, Git, CI/CD integration, and Selenium WebDriver (or equivalent automation tools).
• Hands-on experience configuring and troubleshooting data-center infrastructure (rack/blade servers, chassis, adapters, switching, Fibre Channel, storage, networking, virtualization).
• Exposure to generative AI/AI-assisted engineering tools for testing workflows with ability to review outputs for accuracy, security, and maintainability.
