Senior QA Engineer

Overview

Senior QA Engineer responsible for designing and implementing test automation frameworks and executing test strategies for Eaton’s Advanced Distribution Planning System (ADPS) platform.

What you'll do

• Review technical specifications and engineering requirements.
• Create detailed test plans and test cases.
• Design, maintain, and execute automated and manual tests.
• Validate functionality, performance, and security of .NET and C# applications.
• Analyze defects and collaborate with developers on solutions.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and code reviews.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance with significant UI testing experience.
• Strong UI automation framework expertise in Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium WebDriver.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, or Python.
• Understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, responsive design, and modern frontend architectures.
• Experience testing React, Angular, or Vue.js applications.
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or REST Assured.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Computer/Electrical/Electronics & Telecomm Engineering.
• Experience with Azure, AWS, GCP, or OCI cloud platforms.
• CI/CD pipeline experience, particularly GitHub Actions.
