Software Quality Assurance Engineer

Overview

Software Quality Assurance Engineer responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software products through testing and validation.

What you'll do

• Develop, implement, and maintain test plans and test cases based on product requirements.
• Execute manual and automated tests to identify defects.
• Collaborate with developers, support engineers, product managers, and designers to define testable scenarios.
• Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies.
• Perform regression testing to confirm fixes don’t impact existing functionality.
• Continuously improve QA test processes, methods, and tools.
• Mentor and train junior colleagues.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in software testing and quality assurance.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and QA methodologies.
• Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jira, GitHub Pull Requests).
• Experience with automated testing tools, in particular Playwright.
• Ability to write and execute test cases and test scripts.
• Knowledge of OWASP standards and practices and ability to identify common security vulnerabilities.
• Knowledge of programming languages, in particular C#.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines/tools (e.g., TeamCity, DevOps Pipelines).

Details

• Location: Hyderabad.
• Regular working hours: 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM IST (ICC Second Shift).
• Minimum 5 hours overlap with UK working hours.
