Solution Architect - Security

Overview

Serve as a Security Solution Architect in a pre-sales and consultative role, owning the technical win for security deals alongside a Specialist AE. Design and defend ransomware-recovery, immutability, identity-resilience, and DSPM architectures for customer and executive audiences.

What you'll do

• Lead discovery, solution design, demos, and proofs of value for security deals.
• Design reference architectures and lead technical workshops, POCs, and pilots.
• Advise customers on ransomware recovery, immutable or air-gapped vaulting, identity resilience, and DSPM.
• Build solution briefs, architecture diagrams, and account-specific business cases.
• Collaborate with security partners on joint solutions and technical co-selling.
• Provide field feedback and maintain technical qualification and POC exit criteria.

What you'll need

• At least 5 years of pre-sales engineering and security architecture experience.
• Experience designing or deploying ransomware-recovery, immutable or air-gapped backup, or identity-resilience systems.
• Strong infrastructure experience across backup, recovery, storage, and hybrid cloud.
• Working knowledge of Active Directory, Entra ID, ransomware kill chains, immutability, air-gapping, and zero trust.
• Python or PowerShell scripting and API proficiency for demos and POCs.
• Professional English proficiency and willingness to travel as required.

Nice to have

• Specialist or overlay SE/SA experience at a data infrastructure, backup, or cybersecurity vendor.
• Technical relationships or competitive experience in backup, cyber resilience, or data security.

• Remote role in New York, United States.
• Annual pay range: $240,000–$300,000 USD.
