Solutions Engineer

Overview

As a Solutions Engineer, you handle the technical aspects of the sales process by discovering customer requirements and positioning cybersecurity products to fit those needs.

What you'll do

• Deliver solution presentations, demonstrations, and recommendations to prospects and customers.
• Develop technical relationships through Quarterly Technical Reviews.
• Assist in responding to Requests for Proposals/Information.
• Represent the company at trade shows, seminars, and other events.
• Support technical evaluations, including Proof-of-Concept Success Plans.
• Provide support for BeyondTrust partners.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science (Information Systems) or related field.
• 2+ years of experience as a pre-sales engineer and/or support engineer in privileged access management or adjacent enterprise applications.
• 3+ years of experience working for global software vendors.
• Ability to highlight product differentiators against competitors.
• Significant experience supporting Microsoft Windows, Mac, Linux/Unix, Active Directory, and SQL.
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 50%.
