Specialist - Claims Service

Overview

Specialist in the Claims Service team at Marsh Risk, based in Gurugram, handling insurance claims with exposure to complex and diverse claims and client management.

What you'll do

• Process and submit First Notice of Loss (FNOL) to carriers.
• Monitor and file responses from carriers and follow up as necessary.
• Liaise with carriers and internal stakeholders, including the Advocacy team, to resolve queries and send out FNOL within stipulated timelines.
• Provide ideas and suggestions for improving working methods, taking into account client and member experience, and implement and document them with the line manager for adoption across the business, where appropriate.
• Ensure all statutory regulations and company procedures are followed to protect clients, colleagues and the business interest of the company.
• Use Marsh Speciality's systems appropriately to monitor, record and retain information.
• Demonstrate clear understanding of regulatory requirements and proactively ensure compliance with the regulatory and risk framework.
• Adhere to policies, guidelines and operating procedures.
• Keep own knowledge and expertise up to date and relevant.
• Identify and evaluate risks appropriately, and recognise how own actions impact compliance.

What you'll need

• 3+ years of work experience.
• Graduate in any stream.
• Fair understanding of Insurance Broking business and dynamics.
• Good command over spoken and written English.
• Superior comprehension and articulation skills.
• Ability to prioritise and organise tasks and work within stiff timelines.
• Eye for detail and innovative mindset.

Nice to have

• CII certification.
• Post-Graduation or Certificate Courses in Insurance.
• Experience handling insurance claims.

Details

• Location: Gurugram.
• Hybrid role: working at least three days a week in the office, with one anchor day per week for office-based teams.
• Grade C1.
