Specialist, Engineering Services

Overview

Technical expert role executing small and medium building projects and general building maintenance, working with the Senior Project Manager and managing handymen and vendor partners.

What you'll do

• Identify and execute projects within committed timelines, including billing and invoicing for services rendered.
• Coordinate with vendors and the JLL SPOC for project execution.
• Prepare BOQs and SOWs.
• Execute civil works (excavation, shuttering, concreting, blockwork, plastering, waterproofing).
• Execute interior works (workstations, gypsum partitions, structural glazing, acoustics, flooring, tiling, glass works).
• Carry out general building repairs and maintenance, covering civil works, interior fit out, carpentry, and plumbing.
• Perform routine inspections, inventory management, and documentation.
• Ensure contractors follow building maintenance practices aligned with manufacturer recommendations and preventive maintenance standards.
• Analyse drawings and specifications for resource planning and scheduling.
• Monitor budgets, schedules, and performance for on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Prepare plans, schedules, status reports, and performance evaluations, and generate daily and weekly reports.
• Provide program planning capabilities including interface and risk analysis.
• Establish and monitor project control KPIs and develop action and recovery plans.
• Ensure compliance with EHS norms and health and safety standards as per client and JLL standards.
• Prepare documentation including SIPP preparations, technical drawings, and JCF.
• Ensure vendor invoice and DC verifications and submissions.
• Maintain records related to building maintenance and projects.
• Lead day-to-day operations, managing handymen and vendor partners, and serve as primary contact for vendors on projects and maintenance services.

What you'll need

• Degree in Civil Engineering.
• 8+ years of experience in civil works and corporate interior fit outs.
• Strong technical expertise in civil construction and interior execution.
• Solid understanding of building maintenance requirements.
• Proven experience in people and vendor management.
• Strong understanding of work estimation and drawing interpretation.
• Awareness of industrial safety protocols and ensuring safe work.

• Strong client facing skills and presentation capability.
