Specialist, Information Security

Overview

Work with the information security team as an information security and compliance specialist, while serving as a Scrum Master and Agile coach with hands-on Jira experience. Support cybersecurity, compliance, risk management, Agile delivery, and project management growth toward full project ownership.

What you'll do

• Assess information security risks in line with internal policy and external best practices.
• Support the security of information and IT assets by testing security systems and applying security standards, policies, and procedures.
• Implement cybersecurity technology under the guidance of the global information security lead.
• Provide day-to-day business support.
• Manage third-party providers, if relevant to the role, to ensure internal or third-party parties adhere to standards.
• Provide information security training to appropriate teams.
• Facilitate Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Sprint Retrospectives.
• Ensure the team adheres to Scrum values, principles, and practices.
• Collaborate with Product Owners to maintain a healthy, prioritized, and well-refined product backlog.
• Track and communicate team velocity, sprint burndown, and other key Agile metrics.
• Promote self-organization and cross-functionality within the team.
• Coach team members on Agile methodologies, including Scrum.
• Mentor team members on Jira best practices, including workflow configuration, board management, backlog grooming, and reporting.
• Champion the adoption of Agile practices across the team.
• Support the definition of project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria with stakeholders and senior project managers.
• Assist in developing and maintaining project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies.
• Identify, assess, and escalate project risks and issues, and contribute to risk register maintenance.
• Provide regular status reports and progress updates to stakeholders and leadership.
• Participate in change management activities and stakeholder communication plans.
• Grow into full project ownership.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of CyberSecurity experience with focus in Identity & Access Management.
• 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or in a similar Agile leadership role.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Atlassian Jira, including board configuration, workflows, dashboards, and reporting.
• Established skill working with stakeholders and leading meetings.
• Demonstrated experience coaching and mentoring teams on Agile principles and practices.
• Information security, compliance, and risk management experience and knowledge.
• Knowledge of security solutions and their applicability to Mondelēz International.
• Knowledge of security strategies, awareness campaigns, policies/standards, and governance.
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical specialists, leaders, and peers.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to be a team player by supporting and leading to achieve common goals.
• Jira proficiency to expert level, including board configuration, workflows, dashboards, JQL basics, sprint reporting, and automation rules.
• Understanding of project planning concepts, including timelines, milestones, and dependencies.
• General understanding of the software development lifecycle and DevOps practices.
• Six Sigma certification.
• Certified ScrumMaster certification is required.

Nice to have

• Exposure to or genuine interest in project management practices; formal project management experience is a plus.
• Experience working with distributed or remote Agile teams.
• Formal project management experience managing medium-to-large-scale technology projects.
• Background in software engineering or technical product development.
• Experience with OKRs or similar goal-setting frameworks.
• Knowledge of Lean principles and practices.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps delivery practices.
• PMP – Project Management Professional (PMI) certification is highly valued for the PM growth track.
• Atlassian Certified Jira Administrator certification.
