Specialist Physical Security

Overview

Oversee and implement physical security programs for the assigned site(s), ensuring compliance with security standards, policies and procedures, and supporting the Security Leader/Manager in physical security operations, investigations, risk assessments, security systems maintenance, training and vendor management.

What you'll do

• Oversee and implement physical security programs based on physical security standards, policies and procedures and services within the assigned site(s).
• Ensure overall compliance with security requirements, whether regulatory, corporate, client-specific or industry standard.
• Address agency-related issues affecting personnel performance immediately, and ensure all personnel licenses and clearances are up to date; no one is allowed on duty with an expired document.
• Conduct audits and trainings for ERO, SO and Security Shift In Charge, and facilitate risk assessments (global and location) within agreed timeframes.
• Conduct investigations related to personnel within the Real Estate Team and assist Supervisors and Managers in facilitating Emergency Response Procedures within the area of coverage.
• Ensure physical security operations of the assigned site(s) run smoothly.
• Maintain relationships with security and systems vendor service providers to ensure timely services for systems maintenance and upgrades.
• Coordinate and implement half-yearly fire evacuation drills for the sites.
• Manage all security systems maintenance contracts for security technology installed and to be installed at all locations.
• Plan and prioritize effectively to drive performance.
• Provide mentorship to new hires.
• Handle conflicts while managing eSAT.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's Degree.
• Data collection, analysis and reporting skills.
• Logical thinking and analytical skills; solution-oriented and adept at handling complex situations.
• Good team player with willingness to learn and drive to achieve.
• Ability to manage and support a team.
• Liaise between management, drivers and internal customers.
• Evaluate driver performance, handle customer queries and resolve complaints in a timely manner.
