Overview
Specialist, RTR in Finance & Corporate Services, responsible for record-to-report accounting activities including reporting, journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
What you'll do
- Prepare and review quarterly and annual SEC reports (10Q/10K), including financial statements, footnotes, and MD&A.
- Prepare and record general ledger journal entries in accordance with US GAAP.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual variance analysis for balance sheet and P&L accounts.
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and correcting journal entries for reconciling items.
- Provide financial data schedules to support auditor and SOX compliance requests.
- Participate in SOX walkthroughs and evidence compliance with internal controls.
- Compile variance analysis into consolidated reports and support special projects.
What you'll need
- 6 to 7 years of accounting experience in the Record-to-Report process.
- Knowledge and understanding of GAAP.
- Understanding of internal control elements.
- Experience with accounting/financial systems, preferably Oracle.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good written and oral communication skills; ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Business with emphasis in Accounting or Finance (Accounting/Finance preferred).
