Overview
Senior Consultant for SAP Basis, supporting and operating SAP S/4HANA and related landscapes, including monitoring, tuning, refresh/archiving, and security/audit compliance.
What you'll do
- Manage the S/4HANA SAP RISE landscape with SAP Enterprise cloud services.
- Monitor S/4HANA systems daily (processes, users, logs, dumps, locks, traces, disk space, profile parameters).
- Analyze performance and tune parameters for optimal utilization (e.g., load balancing, operation modes, background jobs).
- Perform and manage system refreshes and SAP printing subsystem configuration.
- Manage ChaRM (basis point of view) and cCTS related to SAP Solution Manager.
- Provide cloud-related service-session analysis (including EarlyWatch Alert) and housekeeping/archiving of S/4HANA data.
- Manage SAP security, risk assessment, security policies, and regular audits in compliance with operational procedures.
What you'll need
- 6-10 years of IT industry experience in global support or business process monitoring.
- Certified SAP BASIS Administrator experience.
- Experience administering S/4HANA systems.
- Experience with S/4HANA database administration tasks.
- Experience with AWS or AZURE cloud setup.
- Experience managing BTP administration and system integration tasks.
- Good troubleshooting skills and knowledge of Linux administration tasks.
