Specialist SAP Developer

Overview

Specialist SAP Developer acting as an ABAP Developer for the OTC and PTS areas in S/4HANA, serving as a technical leader who architects compliant solutions and guides the development team.

What you'll do

• Build and support ABAP technical solutions for OTC and PTS areas, including developing enhancements, debugging issues, and supporting testing.
• Collaborate with architects and functional OTC, logistics, and compliance teams to translate business requirements into robust, extensible technical solutions.

What you'll need

• Doctorate degree OR Master's degree in computer science or STEM majors and 5 to 7 years of IT or related field experience OR Bachelor's degree in computer science or STEM majors and 7 to 10 years of IT or related field experience OR Diploma in computer science or STEM majors and 11 to 14 years of IT or related field experience.
• Develop and support ABAP solutions in SAP S/4HANA for Order-to-Cash (OTC) and PTS processes.
• Work on sales order, delivery, billing, pricing, and tax-related enhancements.
• Build and enhance interfaces using IDocs, RFCs, BAPIs, and OData.
• Perform debugging, performance tuning, and support testing and production issues.
• Collaborate with functional, integration, and business teams in a regulated environment.
• Professional certification: SAP Certified Development Associate – ABAP with SAP NetWeaver.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with functional teams, gathering business requirements, and documenting technical specifications.
• High attention to detail in writing, debugging, and maintaining ABAP code, ensuring adherence to best practices, clean core principles, and SAP development standards.
• Ability to adapt to evolving SAP technologies and project requirements in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex SAP systems, identify root causes, and provide effective technical solutions aligned with business processes.
• Collaborative mindset, working closely with cross-functional teams, SAP consultants, and stakeholders.
