Specialist Technical Project Management

Overview

Lead the planning, execution, governance and delivery of SAP initiatives within the EIT SAP Platform Team at the Hyderabad Tech Center, aligning delivery with business objectives while managing scope, schedule, risks, resources, stakeholders and outcomes.

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain roadmaps so teams work toward shared objectives and deadlines.
• Work closely with stakeholders to define project requirements and prioritize tasks, delivering the most valuable features first.
• Identify potential risks and impediments, assess their impact, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing updates on program status, risks and changes while gathering feedback and requirements.
• Track team velocity, monitor project metrics and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
• Manage project governance, prepare and facilitate steering committee meetings, and escalate decisions and risks appropriately.
• Manage project budgets and forecasts, and track project financials and resource utilization.
• Coordinate project resources across teams and vendors, and support capacity planning and staffing.
• Coordinate requirements, design, testing, cutover and hypercare activities, and manage cross-functional SAP dependencies.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science or a related field.
• 3-7 years of hands-on experience working in project management.
• Project management experience delivering medium-to-large IT/SAP projects.
• Basic understanding of SAP systems and business processes, with the ability to translate business requirements into project delivery activities and coordinate across business and technical stakeholders.
• Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder and facilitation skills.
• Experience with planning, risk management, issue resolution and delivery tracking.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and cross-functional teams.
• Working knowledge of Jira, Confluence, MS Project and Microsoft 365 tools.
• Understanding of Agile and Waterfall delivery approaches.

• Experience with global SAP implementations.
• Pharmaceutical or regulated industry experience.
• Financial management and budgeting experience.
• Knowledge of Apptio or similar financial planning tools.
• Experience supporting S/4HANA transformation programs.

Details

• Location: Hyderabad Tech Center (Hitec City Raidurg), Telangana, India.
• Hybrid working model: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote.
• Candidates are expected to reside within commuting distance of the Hyderabad office.
