About the Job

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Spoken English Trainer for a Part-time, OnSite role focused on improving learners' conversational fluency, pronunciation, and confidence. The ideal candidate will design and deliver interactive, learner-centered sessions for small groups and individual learners, using practical exercises, real-life scenarios, and targeted feedback to accelerate progress. This role requires a patient, engaging instructor who can adapt content for varying proficiency levels, maintain a positive classroom environment, and track measurable improvements. You will work closely with learners to set clear goals, monitor progress, and provide actionable strategies that build both accuracy and spontaneity in spoken English.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver structured spoken English lessons tailored to different proficiency levels (beginner to intermediate).
• Create and implement engaging interactive activities — role-plays, discussions, listening tasks, and pronunciation drills.
• Assess learners' strengths and gaps through regular formative assessments and progress checks.
• Provide clear, constructive feedback and individualized improvement plans to build confidence and accuracy.
• Manage classroom time effectively and maintain a supportive, inclusive learning environment.
• Prepare concise lesson materials, handouts, and practice resources for in-class and take-home use.
• Coordinate with program coordinators to align lessons with overall curriculum goals and scheduling needs.
• Record attendance and maintain simple progress reports to track learner outcomes and milestones.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Excellent Communication Skills — clear articulation, active listening, and the ability to model natural spoken English.
• Prior experience in teaching or tutoring spoken English, ESL, or communication skills is preferred.
• Strong ability to design learner-centered activities that encourage participation and spontaneous speaking.
• Good command of pronunciation, intonation, and conversational strategies to coach learners effectively.
• Professionalism in punctuality, classroom management, and interaction with learners and staff.
• Comfortable working OnSite with flexible part-time scheduling and a collaborative attitude.
• Ability to give concise, actionable feedback and to monitor progress through simple assessment tools.
