Overview
Lead architecture for AI-enabled solutions and automation initiatives, from discovery through production and operations. Collaborate across technology, security, data, platform, product, and business teams while mentoring architects and engineers as an individual contributor.
What you'll do
- Lead end-to-end architecture across applications, data, models, integrations, cloud, security, and operations.
- Design scalable generative AI, machine learning, workflow, agent, retrieval, and automation patterns.
- Assess cost, capacity, performance, quality, and operational readiness for AI solutions.
- Lead proofs of value and production pilots with success measures, guardrails, and exit criteria.
- Apply architecture, security, privacy, data governance, responsible AI, and regulatory controls.
- Facilitate architecture reviews and communicate technical recommendations to governance forums.
- Develop reusable architectures and mentor architects and engineers.
What you'll need
- Minimum 5 years of experience in software, solution, enterprise, cloud, platform, data, or AI architecture.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.
- Experience delivering large-scale or business-critical systems.
- Working knowledge of generative AI, retrieval, agents, MLOps or LLMOps, evaluation, observability, and responsible AI.
- Experience designing for scalability, reliability, capacity, total cost, and cost-performance-quality trade-offs.
- Experience with APIs, workflows, event-driven integration, infrastructure or policy as code, platform engineering, or DevSecOps.
- Strong problem-solving, facilitation, communication, documentation, and cross-functional influencing skills.
Nice to have
- Master's degree.
- Experience in regulated industry, healthcare, life sciences, or clinical and commercial technology.
- Relevant architecture, cloud, data, AI, security, automation, Agile, IT service management, or FinOps certifications.
