Sr. Associate - AI and Data Engineer

Overview

Senior AI and Data Engineer responsible for building and operating production-grade AI systems, data platforms, and intelligent automation solutions. The role combines AI engineering, data engineering, MLOps, DataOps, and platform integration.

What you'll do

• Design and deploy scalable AI and machine learning solutions.
• Engineer multi-agent, RAG, and Model Context Protocol systems.
• Build and optimise batch and streaming data pipelines.
• Develop curated data models and datasets for reporting and AI use cases.
• Implement MLOps pipelines covering training, deployment, monitoring, and model lifecycle management.
• Automate CI/CD workflows using Git, Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Mentor junior engineers and share reusable engineering patterns.

What you'll need

• 5–7 years of experience in data engineering, AI/ML engineering, or software engineering.
• Experience delivering production-grade data and AI solutions in cloud environments.
• Strong Python skills and proficiency in SQL.
• Experience with robust batch and streaming data pipelines.
• Experience with Azure and Databricks.
• Knowledge of dbt, Kafka, and Azure Event Hubs.
• Understanding of MLOps, DataOps, CI/CD, testing, monitoring, and containerisation.

Nice to have

• Experience with JavaScript or Shell.
• Familiarity with vector databases and relational, NoSQL, and analytical storage platforms.
