Sr Associate – Portfolio Accounting ANZ

Overview

Support the APAC Finance team with portfolio accounting, financial reporting, and compliance for Blackstone portfolio companies in Australia and New Zealand.

What you'll do

• Maintain books and records and prepare monthly financials.
• Prepare management, leasing, and capex fee calculations.
• Prepare entity-level packs and reconcile balance sheet items.
• Analyze monthly and year-to-date portfolio and consolidated property results.
• Prepare NAV, SCA, MMR, and other required reporting.
• Support cash-flow forecasting, tax reporting, and entity transitions.
• Identify efficiencies and participate in improvement projects.

What you'll need

• At least 5 years of relevant industry experience.
• Chartered Accountant qualification or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
• Strong financial reporting and accounting knowledge.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Time-management and organizational skills.
• Proactive, solution-oriented, continuous-improvement mindset.

Nice to have

• Private equity or real estate experience.
• Fund administration experience.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience managing large spreadsheets and datasets.
