Associate - Portfolio Accounting

Overview

Associate - Portfolio Accounting responsible for accounting, financial reporting, reconciliations, tax support and audit coordination for companies with complex holding structures.

What you'll do

• Perform day-to-day accounting, including invoices, accruals, provisions and transactions.
• Maintain interest, amortization and depreciation schedules.
• Prepare month-end reconciliations, variance analyses and financial statements.
• Prepare cash flows, management reports, NAV, FMV and liquidity reports.
• Support local tax return preparation and lending-bank information packages.
• Prepare annual accounts and internal and external financial reporting.
• Coordinate with administrators and external auditors during the audit process.

What you'll need

• 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Degree in accounting.
• Fluency in spoken and written English.
• Familiarity with financial and accounting reporting systems.
• Strong computer and spreadsheet skills.
• SOX and internal controls experience.
• Ability to research technical accounting issues and reach well-reasoned conclusions.

Nice to have

• CA or equivalent qualification.
• Hedge fund or private equity industry experience.
• Experience with direct real estate investments.
