Overview
Senior Associate Sourcing will support Global Strategic Sourcing by developing and implementing R&D sourcing strategies. The role manages sourcing projects, supplier relationships, and performance reporting with cross-functional partners.
What you'll do
- Lead and manage strategic sourcing projects to support R&D operations and objectives.
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies aligned to organizational goals.
- Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with key suppliers, including contract negotiation and supplier performance oversight.
- Analyze spend data and market trends to find cost-saving opportunities and implement cost reduction strategies while maintaining compliance and quality.
- Partner with R&D, finance, legal, and other teams to integrate sourcing strategies and facilitate collaboration.
- Develop risk management strategies to mitigate supply chain disruptions and ensure regulatory/policy compliance.
- Conduct market research and monitor/report sourcing KPIs, spend, usage, and performance.
What you'll need
- Have 5 to 9 years of experience.
- Experience negotiating contracts and drafting/negotiating agreements, including handling redlines and execution alignment.
- Ability to analyze spend data and market trends for cost optimization.
- Ability to develop and maintain risk management strategies for supply chain disruptions.
- Ability to conduct market research for industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Ability to monitor KPIs and prepare/present reports to senior management.
