Sr Consultant Software Engineer (Java or .Net)

Overview

Sr Consultant Software Engineer responsible for analysis, design, programming, debugging, testing, and modification of applications.

What you'll do

• Conduct analysis, design, and programming for commercial/end user applications.
• Write code, complete programming tasks, and perform testing and debugging.
• Develop enterprise-level product solutions using an Agentic Development model with tools like Claude Code or Codex.
• Design and build solutions using Java or .NET (Spring Boot/.NET Core), React, JavaScript, HTML5, and Web Services (REST/RPC).
• Follow Test Driven Development and build unit/integration automation tests.
• Interface with users to define system requirements and necessary modifications.
• Perform code reviews, monitoring via logs/metrics, and complete documentation/procedures.

What you'll need

• 8+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s degree (or alternate combinations described).
• Digital fluency including working with emerging technologies such as Generative AI tools (ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot).
• Experience with Java or .NET programming (Java/J2EE/.NET/C#).
• Use agile scrum methodology and contribute to improving team agile processes.
• Experience executing Terraform to create/remove AWS resources.
• Strong skills in system design and code review.
• Exposure to build automation tools including Maven/Gradle/Jenkins/Grunt.

Nice to have

• Preferred experience in payments integration and/or online ecommerce and/or payment gateways.
