Sr. Control Systems Engineer - BESS

Overview

Sr. Control Systems Engineer supporting global sales and tendering through SME expertise in BESS control systems and Microgrids.

What you'll do

• Serve as primary SME for BESS control systems and Microgrids within the Global Bid Support team.
• Support tendering and proposal management for global Sales and Sales Engineering teams.
• Analyze and evaluate bidding strategies, methods, and best practices.
• Manage understanding of customer requirements and development/submission of proposals within timeframes.
• Use commissioning experience to validate that proposed control system architectures are executable and technically sound.
• Ensure submissions comply with customer submission requirements per Fluence’s approval process.

What you'll need

• Minimum 10 years of overall professional experience.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience specifically in BESS control systems.
• Bachelor’s degree qualified in Engineering or related discipline.
• Strong technical knowledge of Microgrids plus hands-on commissioning experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder negotiation and relationship building.
