What you'll do

• Design and implement robust network architectures to support current and future business requirements.
• Configure and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve high-level network incidents, performance issues, and outages.
• Plan and execute changes in the production network with minimal downtime (Change Management).
• Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot F5 BIG-IP load balancers (LTM, GTM/DNS, APM, ASM).
• Perform L2-level support for production incidents, ensuring timely resolution.
• Implement and validate F5 configurations, including virtual servers, pools, iRules, and SSL certificates.
• Lead network projects including upgrades, migrations, and new implementations.
• Monitor network performance using tools like Kentik, NewRelic, or Meraki AP portal.
• Maintain high availability and redundancy in LAN/WAN architecture.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical network requirements.
• Create and maintain technical documentation including network diagrams, SOPs, and reports.
• Implement Quality of Service (QoS) policies to prioritize critical network traffic.
• Provide L3 support and mentor junior engineers.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Extensive experience (10+ years) in designing, deploying, and managing large-scale enterprise networks.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with Cisco Catalyst/Nexus/F5/Meraki switches, ISR/ASR routers and Meraki AP platforms.
• Deep knowledge of routing protocols: OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, and MPLS.
• Expertise in switching technologies: VLANs, STP, HSRP/VRRP, EtherChannel, QoS.
• Expertise in WAN technologies: VPN, SD-WAN, MPLS.
• Familiarity with IPv4/IPv6 subnetting, ACLs, NAT, and DHCP.
• Experience in high-availability and failover technologies.

Nice to have

• Certifications: CCNP/F5 Admin, CCIE preferred.
• Scripting knowledge (Python, Ansible) is a plus.
