Sr Data Scientist

Overview

Senior Data Scientist role on the Data & Insights team, owning end-to-end modeling projects and delivering data products using statistical methods, machine learning, and LLMs.

What you'll do

• Initiate, scope, execute, and deliver end-to-end modeling projects from exploration to deployment.
• Communicate project outcomes, business impact, and recommendations to audiences up to senior leadership.
• Lead stakeholder conversations to clarify requirements and align on measurable business outcomes.
• Design and deploy advanced statistical and machine learning models for descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive needs.
• Design and execute experiments such as A/B tests and causal inference to measure impact.
• Provide technical leadership via mentorship, code/model reviews, and best practices for production readiness.
• Lead agent and LLM evaluation efforts, including prompt effectiveness and context engineering.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of professional data science experience owning end-to-end modeling projects.
• Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or related field.
• Expert-level proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Hands-on experience with large-scale datasets using distributed computing platforms such as Snowflake and Databricks.
• Skilled in LLM prompt engineering/evaluation, context engineering, and integrating LLM APIs into production workflows.
• Deep expertise with ML frameworks including TensorFlow and PyTorch and libraries such as scikit-learn.
• Experience with MLflow and end-to-end ML lifecycle management.

Details

• Reports to the Director of Data Science.
• Location: Hyderabad (SEZ), India; onsite expectation stated as 3–5 days/week at the F5 office.
