Sr Director - Solution Engineer / Technical Architect

Overview

Sr Director—Solution Engineer / Technical Architect focused on solutioning and managing client data transformation programs in the data, analytics, and AI space.

What you'll do

• Lead overall account growth by enabling thought leadership discussions across client data, AI, and agentic journeys.
• Develop program, data, and AI strategies and roadmaps, including cross-functional planning for integrated delivery.
• Act as primary point of contact for assigned client stakeholders and facilitate client communications (presentations, reviews, weekly status).
• Matrix-lead teams of 15–30 professionals across multiple disciplines to drive collaboration.
• Manage program budgets of $3M+ with forecasting, tracking, and optimization recommendations.
• Oversee multi-workstream program execution to meet quality standards and deadlines, including risk management and contingency planning.

What you'll need

• 15+ years of IT experience with background enabling growth in data, cloud, analytics, and AI accounts.
• Experience working with Fortune 500 clients and global brands.
• Experience presenting to executives.
• Experience overseeing delivery of large Data/AI Transformation programs.
• Proficiency in project management tools such as Smartsheet, Jira, Microsoft Project, or similar.
• Familiarity with marketing technology stack including CRM systems, marketing automation, data management, and eCommerce tools.
• Experience managing large, diverse teams in matrixed environments.

• Location: USA - Remote - Maryland.
• Work mode: hybrid (remote flexibility with 2–3 in-office days per week for employees within commuting distance).
• Employment type: Full time; contract type: Permanent.
• Base salary range: $136,000 to $219,075 (USD, annual).
• Program budget responsibilities include $3M+; also holds target of $5M–$10M.
