Overview
Senior engineer owning SoC validation for ONFI, LPDDR and PCIe across architecture, pre-silicon, board design and post-silicon activities.
What you'll do
- Take overall ownership of the SoC, with ONFI/LPDDR/PCIe validation across architecture, pre-silicon, board design and post-silicon activities.
- Interact with architecture, design and FW teams to identify the actual FW implementation and plan and perform validation accordingly.
- Review architecture documents and take part in all validation phases.
- Review the SoC verification plan for the NFC subsystem and create or understand the ONFI/LPDDR/PCIe validation plan with SoC C, AE and FW teams.
- Architect, review and update C/FW based tests.
- Develop understanding of the SoC and perform processor based SoC verification and emulation using C/FW/AE flow.
- Run SoC C based simulations for test case understanding and debug using VCS.
- Take part in silicon bring-up and support FW bring-up.
- Perform post-silicon bring-up and debug for LPDDR, PCIe and ONFI.
- Perform silicon bring-up using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers and protocol analyzers.
- Root-cause issues at PHY, controller, firmware and system levels.
- Provide debug logs, traces and root-cause summaries.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering.
- Thorough knowledge of ONFI, LPDDR and PCIe standards.
- Good understanding of SoC architecture.
- Minimum 5+ years of processor based SoC and hands-on validation experience with SoC C/FW tests.
- Good written and oral communication.
- Excellent team player.
- Positive attitude and mature, well-mannered behaviour.
- Proficiency in AI tools such as Claude, Copilot and more.
- Comfortable using internal AI tools (Copilot/Claude).
Nice to have
- Knowledge of industry standard interfaces such as LPDDR, ONFI and AXI.
- Proven experience in scripting languages such as Python, Perl or TCL.
