Sr Engineer II - QA Manual

Overview

Senior Engineer II (QA Manual) focused on testing game requirements, building test cases, executing SIT, and improving testing processes and automation.

What you'll do

• Analyze game requirements with developers and game designers.
• Develop and complete test strategies, build test cases, and report defects.
• Partner with SIT Manager and Team Leads for test planning and execution.
• Prepare and modify game code for extended automated testing.
• Use tools/frameworks to collect memory metrics and core dumps.
• Resolve issues during SIT test cycles with the Game Development team.
• Continuously improve testing processes, tools, and test cases.

What you'll need

• Minimum 4+ years of software testing experience.
• Skills in developing and implementing test scenarios.
• Knowledge of structured testing techniques, impact analysis, regression testing, and test reporting.
• Understanding of SDLC and software engineering principles.
• Knowledge of Git workflows, pull requests, code reviews, and CI/CD concepts.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, Jira, Linux, Windows, Unity, and automation tools.
• Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science (B.Tech/BE/MCA).
