SR ENGINEER, Software Development SMAI

Overview

Software Engineer role within Micron’s MFG Application Development Team, responsible for configuring, developing, maintaining, and supporting Micron and third-party applications.

What you'll do

• Analyze software requirements and specifications as part of the development life cycle.
• Design, research, and document software solutions.
• Build, maintain, and support applications across development technologies.
• Participate in quality improvement efforts to reduce defects, downtime, or performance degradation.
• Demonstrate ability to switch between development technologies and merge them into solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and customers as part of team execution.

What you'll need

• Hands-on full-stack software development with strong core programming and object-oriented design fundamentals.
• Experience with C#, C++, .NET, .NET Core, WPF, ADO.NET, WebAPI, and RESTful services.
• Scripting experience with Perl, Python, and PowerShell.
• Database experience with MS SQL Server and MySQL, with performance tuning/query optimization preferred.
• CI/CD pipeline experience for build, release, and deployment automation.
• Source control familiarity with GIT and TFS.
