Sr Programmer Analyst

Overview

Senior Programmer Analyst performing advanced bioinformatics programming to support the statistical and computational aspects of clinical research projects.

What you'll do

• Create, execute, maintain, and validate clinical bioinformatics programs.
• Transfer data across multiple data management systems or operating systems.
• Combine data from multiple sources and structures and generate summary data.
• Generate reports or combine multiple databases and validate SAS listings, tables, and figures.
• Serve as Lead Programmer on selected moderately complex studies and collaborate with project leaders and client representatives.
• Train, mentor, and guide junior team members and support knowledge sharing.

What you'll need

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Biostatistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience (Master’s path).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Biostatistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience (Bachelor’s path).
• Demonstrated knowledge and skills for advanced statistical programming, bioinformatics programming, and clinical trial support.
• Experience considered alongside technical expertise, leadership capability, and proficiency.

Details

• Work schedule: Mon–Fri.
• Works as a study team member under the direction of a Lead Programmer on more complex studies.
• Performs quality control reviews of statistical programming deliverables.
• Represents the company at industry conferences and presents at internal department meetings.
