Sr QA Automation Engineer

Overview

Sr QA Automation Engineer on the Endpoint team, developing automation tests to validate the quality of the Proofpoint Agent.

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain automated tests.
• Contribute to test cases for the endpoint agents and their related end-to-end scenarios.
• Help integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Assist in maintaining and improving existing test frameworks.
• Execute manual and automated test cases to validate new features and bug fixes.
• Identify, document, and track bugs clearly and effectively.
• Participate in code reviews and testing discussions.
• Learn and apply best practices in software quality and testing.
• Support initiatives to expand test coverage using AI tools.
• Help experiment with AI-based test generation and analysis tools.
• Learn how AI can be used to identify gaps in test coverage and improve efficiency.
• Work closely with developers, product managers, and QA team members.
• Actively learn new tools, technologies, and testing methodologies.

What you'll need

• 6+ years of experience in Software Development and QA Automation.
• Strong knowledge of Networking and Endpoint testing.
• Advanced coding skills to automate processes.
• Experience testing on Windows/Linux/MacOS environments.
• Experience using Git.
