Sr QA Test Analyst

Overview

Senior QA Test Analyst role focused on test automation for SaaS products, covering UI and API testing within a global team.

What you'll do

• Design feature-centric test plans and strategies.
• Apply an in-depth technical understanding of integrated systems to identify and channel issues for the Application Under Test (AUT).
• Derive precise features and scenarios from PRDs, epics and user stories using Behavior Driven Development (BDD) concepts.
• Write optimized, industry-standard code in TypeScript following best practices.
• Apply a good understanding of a test framework and Separation of Concerns (SOC).
• Work with GitHub, the code review process, pull requests and branching.
• Test REST APIs using any standard library.
• Mentor junior team members as a senior engineer.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of software testing experience for SaaS products.
• 4-6 years of test automation experience in UI and API automation using JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Experience with BDD, Node.js and UI testing.
• Test framework exposure to one of: jest, mocha, protractor, jasmine or cucumber.
• Knowledge of one automation framework: playwright or puppeteer.
• Excellent team membership skills to fit into a global team.
