Sr QA Test Analyst (Playwright)

Overview

Serve as a Sr QA Test Analyst in an agile development team, designing and implementing test plans and strategies, developing automated tests, and supporting quality assurance for SaaS products.

What you'll do

• Understand feature-centric test design techniques and implement those concepts in test plans and strategies.
• Develop an in-depth technical understanding of integrated systems to perceive and channelize issues properly for the Application Under Test (AUT).
• Apply Behavior Driven Development (BDD) concepts to derive precise features and scenarios from PRDs, epics and user stories.
• Write optimized, industry-standard TypeScript code following best practices.
• Apply test framework and Separation of Concerns (SOC) concepts.
• Use GitHub, code review processes, pull requests and branching.
• Perform REST API testing using a standard library.
• Mentor junior team members.
• Work as a member of a global team.

What you'll need

• 4-6 years of test automation experience in UI and API automation using JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Experience with BDD, Node.js and UI testing.
• Exposure to one of Jest, Mocha, Protractor, Jasmine or Cucumber.
• Knowledge of one automation framework: Playwright, Puppeteer, WDIO or Cypress.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical and diagnostic skills, and drive to achieve in a fast-paced, flexible work environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS or a related field.
• 3-5 years of software testing experience for SaaS products.

Details

• Full-time, permanent position.
• Hybrid role based in Bangalore, India.
• Work from the office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, with flexibility to work from home on Mondays and Fridays.
• The role is based at The Leela Office on Airport Road, Kodihalli, Bangalore.
