Sr. RCA Manager

Overview

Sr. RCA Manager partners with business and risk/compliance/audit leaders to oversee creation, implementation, and maintenance of an effective risk management framework.

What you'll do

• Oversee the successful creation, implementation, and maintenance of a risk management framework.
• Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations through assigned projects/activities.
• Identify gaps and drive solutions to minimize losses from inadequate internal processes, systems, or human errors.
• Identify, respond to, and/or escalate risks as appropriate.
• Influence policies and procedures to maximize profit potential and minimize regulatory exposure.
• Ensure partnership between the Line of Business and the Lines of Defense.
• Manage a team of RCA Professionals, including staffing, performance management, prioritizing, guidance, and training.

What you'll need

• More than 12 years of applicable experience.
• Bachelor's or advanced degree, or equivalent work experience.
• Considerable understanding of applicable laws, regulations, financial services, and regulatory trends affecting the assigned line of business.
• Considerable understanding of the business line’s operations, products/services, systems, and associated risks/controls.
• Thorough knowledge of Risk/Compliance/Audit competencies.
• Strong leadership and management skills for processes, projects, and people.
• Strong written and verbal communication and analytical/problem-solving/negotiation skills.
