Sr Research Associate, Analytical R&D

Overview

Sr Research Associate responsible for analytical method development, validation, testing, documentation and regulatory support in an analytical R&D laboratory.

What you'll do

• Develop analytical methods for projects and support timely method validation and transfer.
• Analyze raw materials, intermediates, in-process samples, cleaning samples, stability samples and APIs.
• Provide analytical support for production issues, yield improvement and process optimization.
• Perform method development and validation using ICPMS, IC, GCMS and LCMS.
• Prepare reports and review executed analytical documents while maintaining data integrity.
• Support calibration and preventive maintenance of analytical instruments and maintain HPLC/GC columns.
• Handle QMS activities including change control, deviations and CAPA.

What you'll need

• 4–7 years of experience in analytical R&D.
• Postgraduate qualification in Chemistry or Analytical Chemistry.
• Experience developing and validating analytical methods for API testing and release.
• Knowledge of ICH and regulatory requirements.
• Knowledge of GMP operations and GLP/cGMP laboratory practices.
• Ability to perform wet analysis and operate HPLC, GC, GCMS, IR and LCMS instruments.
